Welcome to Bluegrass Bounty Farm. We are a small regenerative family farm located in the bluegrass region of Kentucky, just outside of the capital city, Frankfort. We are raising 100% grass fed/finished beef, and pasture raised chicken and eggs. We would love you to come and see our farm. Please call to schedule a visit.

We are not currently offering any bulk ground beef discount boxes, but we are working out the possibility of creating some Sampler boxes.

Whole or Half Beef:
We process beef normally 2-3 times per year, in the summer and late fall, and usually have available one-two animals that can be purchased as a whole or two halves. Please call for more information and current pricing.

Pasture Raised Eggs:
COMING SOON! Our new layer hens have started laying a bunch of beautiful LITTLE eggs. In a couple of weeks they should be nice, full-sized eggs ready to sell. Working on the current cost-analysis and will update with price.

ABOUT US

In the beautiful bluegrass region of Kentucky, we have been able to realize the dream of starting a small family farm to raise incredible nutritious food for the family....and some extra to share with others who want the same high quality.

We are producing grass-fed/finished beef, pasture raised chicken & eggs, and occasionally a limited amount of woodland/pasture pork. We also want to add sheep to the farm soon and have lamb available. Our products are free from antibiotics, steroids or hormones, and we use non-GMO and/or organic feed.  We use regenerative farming practices including intensive rotational grazing, to produce delicious and nutritious food while also improving the soil, increasing its ability to hold water and carbon. 

Both our boys have taken on responsibilites around the farm, with Nathan overseeing the food and water for the pigs, and Michael taking care of the layer hens and collecting the eggs. They have also been great helpers with many other projects!

Come and Visit!
You are more than welcome to come and visit the farm, by appointment only, please. We love showing our customers around the farm! We live off a private driveway shared with a few other neighbors with no through traffic allowed, so when visiting, drive slowly, watch for wildlife, and be prepared to pull off slowly and stop to let other cars pass. (Basically we do not want anyone to tear up the neighbors grass or hit any deer!) The posted speed limit is 20 mph. Also, if you'd like to march around the fields at all, bring boots or wear sturdy, washable shoes.
